Presta valve:
– The Presta valve (also known as the French valve) is mainly used on road and touring bikes. When inflating an innertube with this valve you need to open the valve by unscrewing the nipple on top.
High pressure:
– A high-pressure pump has a narrow air chamber, enabling it to generate high pump pressure. A high-pressure pump is ideally suited for thin tires that need to be inflated hard. You can also use a pump like this for wider tires, but then you have to pump a bit longer before the tire reaches the desired pressure as the pump volume is slightly lower.
