Belonging to the belay/descender range, the Beal AIR FORCE ONE is a model that makes belaying very easy when climbing.
Accepting all single ropes, it is suitable for all climber profiles, from beginners to expert climbers who use small diameter single ropes (between 8.5 and 10.5 mm).
Its V-groove design with a groove makes it easy to give slack while offering effective braking control. Energy absorption is then optimized when stopping the leader’s fall.
In addition, the wide and smooth groove quickly eliminates parasitic friction on an angle, thus limiting wear of the rope.
