Description
The BACK UP LINE 5MM X 60M is an ultra-technical rescue cord developed by Beal for mountaineers and Big Wall climbers. It allows you to manage large-scale recalls or complex hoisting operations while taking up a derisory amount of space in your rucksack.
Its hybrid design combines an aramid core with a polyamide sheath, giving you the total stability you need for effective hauling and rope retrieval. The roughened sheath has been specifically designed to ensure a secure grip and precise control, preventing unintentional slippage even when wearing gloves or in wet conditions.
By adding this 60-metre strand to your equipment, you can secure your climbs on long walls without weighing down your progress. It is the passive safety tool par excellence which, although it has no dynamic properties, becomes vital as soon as you have to extricate yourself from a perilous situation or manoeuvre heavy loads on a wall.
