A hydroformed shaft maximizes strength and stiffness while keeping weight down, while the fine-tuned length and pick angle make the Viper comfortable and easy to handle on variable types of ice and snow. The bottom flick-lever allows you to stow the bottom pommel when planting the axe in snow. The Viper is a part of our I.C.E. System – which means the picks and heads are all interchangeable – but comes equipped with the standard I.C.E. pick and either an alpine hammer or adze.
