The DESCENDER is our first full-face helmet developed fully in-house, built to be downhill-friendly. Its robust ABS outer shell combined with MIPS technology ensures high protection against both impact and rotational forces. The breakaway visor is engineered to detach in a controlled manner during a crash, reducing torsional stress on the neck and spine. With 21 vents, the helmet remains well-ventilated even at lower speeds. The visor design allows easy mounting of an action camera or X-Lock compatible light via hook-and-loop fastener and adapter. The height-adjustable FS14 fit system and replaceable cheek pads ensure a snug, personalised fit. A magnetic Fidlock fastener offers fast and secure closure – even while wearing gloves.
MIPS:
– Multi-Directional Impact Protection System: The Brain Protection System MIPS can be found in many CUBE Helmets. MIPS is a low friction layer between the helmet and the head that allows a sliding movement of 10-15mm, in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact forces.
