Description
If you want to climb, climb and swing in complete safety, choose the OHM II designed by Edelrid!
This assisted braking resistance system increases rope friction when there is too great a difference in weight between the belayer and the main climber. Placed as the first quickdraw in the belay chain, the OHM II increases the friction of the rope in the event of a fall so that the belayer can support a climber heavier than himself. As a result, the risk of falling to the ground is significantly reduced, while the risk of burning the belayer’s hands is also reduced, and there is less wear and tear on both quickdraws and ropes.
Recommended for a weight difference of 10 to 40 kg, this clever device will take a lot of stress off both the climber and the belayer!
