As its name suggests, La Sportiva ‘s NEPAL CUBE GTX is a walking shoe for men that is a reference in technical mountaineering footwear. Its exceptional lightness and thermal properties make all the difference.
Weighing just 825gr, this shoe is also lightweight thanks to its construction which incorporates a lightweight sole/insole using honeycomb carbon technology, a thermal insole and small ultra-light steel parts. Made from a single piece of supple leather, this shoe adds a Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort lining that contributes to the overall comfort of the shoe, ensuring breathability and water resistance. The EZ OUT technology in the tongue allows for a more precise fit and promotes the evacuation of sweat through a fabric that draws moisture away from the outside of the shoe. In addition, the 3D Flex system provides walking comfort and ankle support on steep terrain.
Finally, the Vibram outsole with Impact Brake System absorbs negative ground impact, while lugs promote traction and keep feet under control on descents.
