The BARRYVOX is a avalanche victim detector designed by the Mammut brand, featuring ultra-simple operation and clear instructions for use.

This transceiver is ergonomic, shock-resistant and easy to handle, even when wearing gloves. It has a range of 70 metres and an automatic self-test system. It also features SEND mode and automatic transmit switching. What’s more, its software is updatable, so you’ll be able to carry out updates.

Finally, this avalanche transceiver is supplied with a carrying system for comfortable and safe carrying.

• Automatic switch to transmit mode (Auto Revert): if a rescuer makes no movement for 4 minutes, the device transmits the hypothesis of a secondary avalanche and switches to SEND mode (motion sensor).
