After gathering years of data and feedback from our World Cup Downhill and Enduro World Series athletes, the Shorty is completely new for 2021. The knob layout has been altered to improve wet traction, cornering performance, and mud shedding abilities. The narrower 2.40´´ casing improves frame and fork clearance for when things get really sloppy and reduces weight. This redesign ensures you get a tyre that is faster, more predictable, and more capable in the exact conditions where performance matters most. The large, tall, and slightly staggered side knobs are designed to penetrate loose soil, providing predictable, razor-sharp cornering, while the alternating central tread pattern clears mud efficiently and offers superb braking traction.
Built with a Tubeless Ready (TR) design, this tyre allows for lower running pressures, which dramatically increases traction and reduces the risk of pinch flats.
