The Petzl Hammer is a hammer head designed to be added to certain ice axe models to provide added versatility in varying conditions.

Suitable for the new Petzl Quark, Nomic and Ergo ice axes, the Petzl Hammer has a tapered profile and hollow design, and is useful for placing Warthogs or pegs. This hammer is a sensible addition to the new Nomic or Egos to make them versatile enough to be able to place pegs when Scottish winter and alpine climbing.
