– T-shape with round profile
– Anatomical center moved 5 mm backward
– Multi Sector System technology
– Variable-density foam padding, 3 mm thicker at the rear
– Grip Cover for better stability and bike control
– Wider PAS (Perineal Area System) relief channel
– Wider nose for better support on steep climbs
– Carbon fiber base
Anatomical Shape:
– The anatomical shape of the new Scratch NDR PAS (250 x 140 mm) has been redesigned for off-road use, with the “anatomical center” moved 5 mm backward to increase the rider´s freedom of movement and enhance pedaling performance in the rearward position — typical during long climbs.
– The round anatomical shape provides extra lumbar support, helping maintain a stable position even for those with limited pelvic mobility.
Base and Rails:
– For performance-oriented riders seeking a rigid, ultra-light saddle, the Scratch NDR PAS with a long-fiber carbon base and Nack rails (Nano Carbon Fiber), made from carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments.
Specifications:
– Size: 250×140 mm
– Weight with Nack rails: 158 g
Technology:
– The PAS (Perineal Area System) features a wider relief channel that reduces compression of soft tissues, tendons, and blood vessels, ensuring proper blood circulation.
– The Scratch NDR PAS inherits from the Scratch family both its compact dimensions (250 x 140 mm) and the Multi Sector System: distinct mapped zones, each with specific functions and characteristics tailored for XC and Marathon disciplines.
– The two rear-lateral sections are engineered to offer greater stability and comfort when pedaling in a rearward position during long climbs.
– The variable-density foam is 3 mm thicker in the rear to provide maximum support, while the smooth cover makes it easier to slide off the saddle.
– The innovative front-central section is specifically designed to handle steep and technical climbs, featuring a wide, flat surface that offers a stable support base, even when pedaling on the saddle nose.
– This section is covered with a Grip Cover featuring a horizontal texture that maximizes grip and helps the rider maintain a forward position in the saddle.
– These features make the Scratch NDR PAS especially appreciated by both professional athletes and road cyclists who seek top performance without sacrificing comfort.
