This model is made from lightweight, durable Powertex fabric in a triple-layer laminate construction that enhances its protection with a waterproof front zipper, durable PFC-free DWR coating and welded seams.

It adds a few useful details like large underarm zippers, a hood that fits easily under a helmet, and an innovative Direct Access Zip that allows access to the inner pocket and the layers of clothing underneath, including immediate access to an avalanche beacon.
