They can be adjusted by means of an adjustment knob concealed under the lever, and are very easy to unlock, even when wearing gloves. For more grip, set them in the front position, and for the best sliding sensation, set them in the rear position! For a good compromise, choose setting 0. Once set, an audible click ensures safety.
