Description
Rubber made from natural latex is different from rubber made from extruded or ynthetic materials. Primeline uses a “continuous immersion process” in which the rubber is built in a layered process that offers high physical properties with less than 50 micrograms of protein per gram. Extracted from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree, it is processed in the original liquid form and avoids the chewing process, resulting in an evenly distributed formula. The result is a product with superior physical properties including higher tear resistance. These features are essential to provide the Salvimar by Primeline elastic band with greater strength and higher performance. Salvimar offers its customers dedicated PRIMELINE productions made specifically for our company with an accurate choice of compounds and thicknesses.
Salvimar by Primeline compounds are of three different types: HURRICANE, PRIME and OPTIMUS. Each of them has different technical characteristics to adapt to each spearfisher’s need.
HURRICANE, the compact compound with high hardness is developed to maintain power unchanged after the speargun has been loaded. Recommended for spearfishing with the waiting technique and for those who prefer reactivity and explosiveness. PRIME, formula designed to obtain an optimized elastic modulus that guarantees an excellent ratio between loading effort and power return. This makes the PRIME compound versatile and suitable for all types of fishing.
OPTIMUS, Softer compound: ensures a progressive and constant thrust, and allows to shorten the standard length of the rubber band on short-barrelled spearguns to increase their power. It facilitates the speargun loading. The production process allows to choose the bore size: the ID.
The rubber band with standard 3.2mm ID (inner diameter) has an excellent ratio between load force and power delivered. The choice of the smaller diameter
MICRO ID 1.6mm allows to increase the power of the rubber band with the same externaldimensions, facilitating the swinging during the fishing action.
