3D Aluminum carrier:
– Optimized 3D-shaped aluminum carrier is designed purposefully in every single dimension and achieves lightweight and superb heat distortion resistance.
– This prevents the entire rotor from deforming due to heat and reduces rubbing noise while riding.
Ice Technologies:
– Shimano Ice Technologies components deliver more consistent braking performance by reducing heat buildup in the system. This helps prevent brake fade, which can happen when a rider applies the brakes repeatedly and strongly over a short period of time, such as when descending a long, steep hill.
Center Lock:
– The Center Lock system makes an easy rotor installation possible with spline mount and a lock ring. The lock ring mounting system reduces the total working hours by shortening the amount of time of both installation and de-installation. In addition, the secure fixing by the spline mount enhances precision and rigidity while improving braking efficiency.
